Posted on: 11/03/2016

This weekend, Norwich will play host to an exciting two-day festival about how we can all make more environmentally-friendly choices.

A fun (and free!) event for all the family, the Sustainable Living Festival will feature dynamic sustainable living exhibits and activities, children’s animated movies, face painting and seed planting, and the chance to make your own pedal-powered smoothie! Plus, Karen Cannard will be giving a talk about how you can slim your bin and reduce waste. Karen Cannard co-runs The Rubbish Diet Challenge and was an advisor to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s BBC programme War on Waste. She has also appeared on ITV Tonight’s Waste Wars.

The Sustainable Living Festival was first held in March 2015 as part of Norwich City Council’s One Planet Norwich project. This year, it’s back and bigger than ever, with even more activities and bags of information about how you can make more sustainable living choices.

One Planet Norwich will be held at the Forum in Norwich city centre from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th March. Visit the One Planet Norwich Facebook page for full details.
