 Please note: Both our offices and yard will be closed from lunchtime Friday the 22nd of December 2017 to the Tuesday the 2nd of January 2018. Deliveries for the morning of Friday the 22nd must be in the diary by Wednesday 20th December, collections before Christmas must be organised by Monday 18th at the latest.Â
Amazingly, 2017 is already nearly over. With Christmas just days away and with the New Year now looming over us, we can’t help but reflect on what has been a good year for all of us here at WT Skip Hire. This year saw us take part in another successful skip art event for world book day, launch our new website and expand our staff and our fleet of vehicles, amongst other things.Â
Our Highlights Of 2017Â
Skip Art for World Book DayÂ
In February this year, we took part in world book day 2017, installing one of our painted skips in Sparhawk Infant and Nursery School. To celebrate the event this year, Mik Richardson, our good friend and master artist painted one of our skips with a variety of characters from various different books and programmes.Â
New Set of WheelsÂ
In May of this year, we added another member to the WT Skip Hire vehicle fleet. The newly converted Ford Transit van has enjoyed being broken in since the spring and has benefitted the company massively. Capable of collecting and delivering our smaller domestic skips, this new vehicle has been very important to our team of four dedicated drivers.Â
Great Yarmouth Duck Race 2017:
This summer saw us participate in the Great Yarmouth Duck Race, with our very own customised competitor, Duck Rogers. Once again, we teamed up with Mik Richardson, artist and long-term friend of WT Skip Hire who created our duck.Â

If we tried to contain all of our highlights of the year in one blog, it would probably take you until next Christmas to read. Some of our other memorable moments from this year include: Launching our new website, hiring more staff to the WT family, providing skips for the Sundown festival as well as being invited to attend the letsrecycle.com awards for excellence.Â
A Christmassy Message
Christmas is now just one week away and is the perfect way to wind down what has been a very good year for us at WT Skip Hire.
