Creating Skip Art in Great Yarmouth

We are very fortunate that Mik has also agreed to decorate two of our skips live on Great Yarmouth sea front later this month. Between 10am and 5pm on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd you will be able to find him next to the Sealife Centre. Mik's brief has been to produce designs that reflect the local area, specifically Norwich, Great Yarmouth and the Norfolk Broads. We are extremely excited to find out what he has in store for us! One artist to have already been confirmed as decorating one of the dragons for next year is Mik Richardson, the man behind the incredibly popular (and controversial!) “Freddie Radio Go Go” gorilla on last year's trail. So popular was Mik's design that it went on to be the biggest seller at the fundraising auction; raising an amazing £20,000. Last year saw Norwich invaded by a troop of arty apes as the city when crazy for the Go Go Gorillas art trail. Following on from what was a massively successful event it has recently been announced that 2015 will see the next evolution of the art trail, with around 70 Go Go Dragons set to be decorated and displayed throughout the city.
