Hire a Skip for Your Summer Projects

Rubble from a home renovation in our skips.

With the weather improving, temperatures increasing and the days lasting longer, summer is the perfect time to complete any jobs you may have been planning. Some jobs can create more waste than others. No matter the amount of waste created, it’s vital that it is disposed of correctly. Due to the wide variety of waste that they can hold, skips are perfect for helping you complete any jobs and we’ll responsibly dispose of the waste created by the project.

Landscaping Project? Hire a Skip

Nothing helps you relax and enjoy the sunny evenings like getting your front and back gardens into shape. The longer days mean that summer is the perfect time to tackle any landscaping projects. Whether you are simply planning to trim back some bushes and hedges or if you are planning to have a fully-fledged garden renovation, hiring a skip is one way you can make your projects easier. Any green waste we collect in our skips is shredded down and turned into compost.

We have a range of skips perfect for helping with these garden renovations. Our 8-yard skips are a popular choice for garden landscaping projects – especially if you’ll be disposing of topsoil as our larger skips are too heavy to transport when filled with earth.

Hire a Skip for Your Summer Clear Out

For smaller jobs like spring cleaning, our smallest skips are the ideal choice. Our smallest skip, the 2-yard skip holds between 25 and 35 black bin bags worth of waste which should be more than enough for all but the most enthusiastic hoarders. Although lots of our work is from domestic properties, we can also help customers with commercial clearances in mind.

Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations

Kitchen and bathroom renovations are one of the most common reasons people hire skips. The waste created by these projects is often too much to transport to the tip by car and, with the new DIY waste charges at Norfolk’s tips, it may well be cheaper and easier just to hire a skip.

We can deal with small quantities of plasterboard. However, large quantities will incur an extra charge. Due to the Environment Agency’s laws, all plasterboard must be physically separate from any other waste. Read more about the transport of plasterboard.
