Investing in Waste Management and Recycling Equipment

For any waste management and recycling companies such as ours, plant and equipment is vital - if it is not running then the whole logistics chain falls apart, as skips can't be processed and the materials sent on. We're therefore committed to upgrading our plant and equipment on a regular basis. This reduces downtime, ensure we don't let the customer down, improves staff morale and increase efficiency. Our latest investment is in a JCB 531 70 Telehandler. Plant like this is invaluable to a company like ours; once materials are separated they are loaded into the JCB which puts them into the appropriate container for onward recycling. The Telehandler has a 7 metre reach, so even 40yd ro-ro containers can be accessed with ease. Residue waste can then be pushed up inside the recycling centre to keep the site clean and safe. Investment like this is a massive commitment for us, but we think it is worth it.
