Throughout all the heatwaves of summer (and the recent heavy showers) work has been taking place on the Jubilee Court housing development in Great Yarmouth. We’ve had front row seats for watching the foundations being dug and the buildings take shape – and not just because the development is happening in our neighbourhood. Work commenced on the project during the Jubilee year of 2022 when Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was celebrating 70 years as Sovereign – hence the name “Jubilee Court” – the development should be ready to welcome its first tenants in the summer of 2023.

“This is a landmark project providing much needed affordable new homes and making great use of an underused, brownfield site in the town. Through both new properties and work to upgrade the energy-efficiency of our existing housing stock, the council is committed to helping residents live more sustainable lives.”
