Making the Right First Impression with Our Customers

There is no getting away from the fact that first impressions are crucial. The situation can vary from meeting someone for a date or attending a job interview but, in each case, how you come across in those first few seconds can go a long way to deciding the success or failure of your encounter. The same goes for business – customers will often make split second decisions about whether they like the look of a company and these decisions will often be the difference between winning their custom and watching them walk on by.

In the case of our business, our trucks act as the face of our company. Not only are they one of the first things that any customer will see as their skips are delivered, but they also act as a marketing tool for the company every day. Each minute that they are out on the road, they are being noticed by passing drivers and pedestrians. Whilst those people may not be in immediate need of our services, we know that making a good first impression could help them to remember us when the time comes to hire a skip.

Whilst many people will associate waste with being a messy industry, there are a number of things we can do to improve people’s first impressions of our company. For that reason we invest a significant amount of time in the upkeep of our fleet of vehicles. We have just this week received on one of our vehicles back from getting a new lick of paint and a spring clean. It will now be heading back out onto the road and could be making a delivery close to you in the near future!
