Norfolk Hazardous Waste Amnesty September and October

old fire extinguishers hazardous waste

Every year, Norfolk recycling centres hold a hazardous waste amnesty – these are special dates when facilities are in place to take donations of certain classes of hazardous waste. They are always busy, and with Covid-19 measures in place, you can expect to be queuing – but this may be your only opportunity to get rid of certain items.

We are unable to accept hazardous waste in our skips because specialist disposal methods are needed to get rid of it. That’s why we always draw our customers’ attention to these amnesties.
