Skip Masterpieces: Some of Our Painted Skips

Skips are designed to be filled with the waste products from various domestic, commercial and industrial projects, but that doesn’t mean they have to be ugly. Over the years, we’ve invited local artist Mik Richardson to bring his brush to bear on our skips. Here are some of his designs. All of them are painted on working skips.

Earl of Pembroke

“I must go down to the sea again, the lonely sea and the sky

All I need is a tall skip and a star to steer her by.”

Fire Breathing Dragons

“When you play the Game of Skips, you win or you die.”
